ReOrient Festival of Short Plays

I’m excited to direct HOMING PIGEONS, & CO by the very talented Bay Area-based playwright, Sepehr Jafari, at the ReOrient Festival. This is the 30th anniversary of Golden Thread Productions and this year’s ReOrient plays center Iranian and Palestinian perspectives. Performances run from October 9 to November 1, 2026 at Potrero Stage in San Francisco, CA. Check Golden Thread’s website for Festival tickets and details.

The Flying Carpet Festival

I’m thrilled to be one of the 42 artists gathering from from 20 countries to bring theatre, circus arts, music, and dance to the communities living in and around Mardin, Turkiye. "From August 21st to September 1st, 2026, the festival will weave its magic across 10 distinct locations throughout the beautiful Mardin province, situated near the Turkish-Syrian border."

MENA Theater Makers Alliance

As a passionate advocate for Middle Eastern and Middle Eastern American theater, I'm thrilled to be a founding board member of the MENA Theater Makers Alliance. A national non-profit that amplifies the voices of Middle Eastern and North African theater makers and expands how stories from and about our communities are told on U.S. stages.
